Our Stories Matter

Teachers and support staff, parents and students are attending BOS meetings and sharing their stories. Speaking from personal experience they share the hardship of increasing class size, the lack of time to complete all required tasks, the shrinking take home pay and the changes they have seen in CCPS.

Your story is important as well.  Visit the link to provide your perspective.  Share the link with your neighbors, PTA leadership, concerned parents and business and community leaders, and ask them to participate.  Stories are being gathered and shared with members of the BOS and School Board. http://bit.ly/CEABudgetStories

You can read stories at CEA's Facebook page at http://bit.ly/Ceaonfacebook

On February 12 the BOS will announce the advertised tax rate.Without an increase in the tax rate and without more funding coming to the public schools we will continue to experience increasing class sizes, reducing number of electives and highly qualified teachers moving on to other school districts.  You can contact the BOS directly.  Chesterfield County Board of Supervisors
